There is an election every year in Virginia, so volunteers are always needed to help with such activities as candidate searches, phone banking, mailings, fundraising, canvassing, poll working/watching, etc. Please check this page regularly for updated information on specific volunteer opportunities.

NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER PROGRAM

423 Virginia Democrats knocked on over 18,000 doors to kick off our coordinated campaign’s field program. Great work! As the Daily Press said, “It’s still early in the campaign, but that’s a lot of knocking.” The Democratic Party of Virginia Coordinated Campaign officially launched the Summer Commonwealth Canvass!

Canvasses were launched June 21 & 22 from Henrico, Hanover and Chesterfield. In Henrico, Staples Mill Precinct in the Brookland Magisterial District kicked off the summer program. This canvass project is our opportunity to show the rest of the state the strength of all committees in the Richmond area.
