Campaigns need volunteers to canvass, phone bank, engage voters online, write letters to the editor, display yard signs, donate supplies, contribute money, enter data, and more. On Election Day, we also need poll greeters to hand out sample ballots, drivers to provide rides to the polls, and volunteers to assist with voter protection. What should I expect at the polls?
First, be sure to bring your photo ID if you are voting in person. When you check in, provide your name and address. When you get your ballot, check to make sure it contains the correct candidates. Make your selection for each race by completely filling in the oval next to your choice. If you make a mistake, request a new ballot.
