Clean Virginia’s first-ever “The Energy Bills Are Too Damn High!” Tour is taking place throughout the month of October. This 4-stop series brings communities, candidates, and elected leaders together to tackle Virginia’s energy crisis and the Richmond event will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 6:30–8:00 PM.
Every month, Virginians face higher energy bills - not because it’s inevitable, but because monopoly utilities have shaped the rules in their favor. The good news: we know what it takes to fix this. This tour will highlight real solutions and drive action in the 2025 election and beyond.
In Richmond, attendees will hear from Senator Ghazala Hashmi, Senator Schuyler VanValkenburg and House of Delegates candidates Kimberly Pope Adams and Leslie Mehta, enjoy free food and drinks and join conversations about how we can lower costs, hold corporations accountable, and push for an energy system that works for all Virginians.
