As we gear up for the crucial elections ahead, your voice and support are more important than ever. Here at the Henrico Dems, we're building a grassroots movement powered by passionate individuals like you who are committed to making a difference in our community. There are many ways to make a difference - canvassing, poll greeting, poll observing, outreach events, and more.

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy — and right now, they’re under attack. Across the country, politicians are rigging congressional maps, and this Spring, Virginians have the chance to level the playing field.

Early Voting Starts March 6th
Special Election Day is on April 21st
We need canvassers, phone bankers, text bankers to get out the vote! Sign up for opportunities using this mobilize link -Virginians For Fair Elections - Get Out the Vote

Special Election Volunteers Needed

The Early Voting Signs Ups for both the EGC and WGC have been updated to include "Morning Muscles" and "Afternoon Muscles" Shifts. The morning shifts would involve picking up the supplies (table, tent, folding chairs, supply tub, signs), transporting to the government center, and setting up. The afternoon shift would reverse the process. While the shifts are scheduled for 1 hour, it probably would only take 30 minutes. These shifts would be perfect for people interested in volunteering during early voting, but don't have a 4 hour block of time to commit. If you sign up for an afternoon shift, you can sign up for a morning shift the next day and not even need to unload your car!
If you have questions or want to help recruit and schedule election volunteers, please contact Rachel Lawrence, Henrico Dems Vice Chair Precinct Ops.
If you are able to be a Poll Observer, please contact Anne Hayes, Voter Protection Liaison.
