Help Staff the Henrico Dems Early Voting tables and Election Day Precincts
Dates: Monday - Friday Sept 18 to Oct 30, Sundays Oct 18 and 25, Saturdays Oct 24 and 31, and Tuesday Nov 3
Educate voters on the candidates and amendments that appear on the ballot.
We will monitor the weather and cancel, delay, or shorten shifts as needed. Notification of changes will be by text and email. Please dress for the weather and bring cell phone, water, snack, and folding chair if you have one.
We also need other helpers including poll observers and poll dressers and sweepers.

Election Day Leaders and Precinct Adopters
We are looking for volunteers to Adopt their Precinct for the mid-term election on November 3rd. This is a short-term, meaningful leadership position for folks who would like to get more involved but not overwhelmed.
Responsibilities of Precinct Adoption:

Recruit (with help) 5-10 volunteers from August to October to staff the table on Election Day - talk to your friends and neighbors to make this a fun event!

Coordinate materials - poll greeter packet, signs, table, decorations - with the Election Day Leader*

Communicate with Election Day Leader and VC of Precinct Ops on a regular basis

Collect vote counts if needed

Coordinate with Election Day Leader on election day if issues arise
We are also looking for Election Day Leaders in each Magisterial District to help on Election Day. Election Day Leaders help recruit volunteers, coordinate materials, serve as a pick location, and provide support for all the poll greeters in their district on election day.
