Big decisions about Virginia’s energy future are being made right now and Lt. Gov. Ghazala Hashmi wants Virginians at the table.
This September, she’s hitting the road for the Energy Costs Listening Tour, with stops in Loudoun, Norfolk, Richmond, Charlottesville and Roanoke. At the center of the conversation is the proposed Dominion–NextEra takeover and what it could mean for our utility bills, the reliability of our grid, and communities across Virginia. Local elected officials and energy experts will help unpack the proposal, but just as importantly, this is a chance for Virginians to ask questions and be heard.
