Henrico Dems Annual Blue Bash!

This isn’t just a fundraiser. This is the night we come together to celebrate the grit, heart, and pure hustle that goes into turning Henrico a deeper shade of blue and to raise the funds that make it all possible. You can snag your tickets HERE.

What we accomplish is extraordinary.  It’s not magic, it’s just long hours, relentless organizing, and thousands of hours of volunteer labour.

We’re the ones who:

• Staff the 45 days of early voting at our early voting locations, morning to night, with trained, calm, informed volunteers.

• Mobilize over 250 volunteers on Election Day to ensure Henrico's 90 precincts are dressed with Democratic candidate signs and have friendly, helpful faces distributing accurate Democratic sample ballots, monitoring turnout, and helping ensure voting goes smoothly.

• Print and distribute thousands of sample ballots, flyers, and mailers that actually help win races up and down the ballot.

• Show up at festivals, parades, and community events across the county all year long.

• Haul tents, tables, chairs, swag, clipboards and election materials over hill and dale to support candidates and register and engage voters.

• Help open and run candidate offices, manage logistics, and keep everything moving.

• Organize high-impact protests and actions that bring attention to the fights that matter, from the first actions against Elon Musk that grew and grew every week to holding Wittman's feet to the fire. Enough to get Rachel Maddow’s attention.

We're already working our tails off to get our folks elected in 2025. We're going to help send our hometown hero Abigail Spanberger to the Governor's mansion, elect Ghazala Hashmi and Jay Jones, flip delegate seats from red to blue and re-elect the rest of our crew. And we’re already looking ahead to 2026 when we’ll be at the center of the fight of our lives to flip CD01 and finally send Rob Wittman packing. Henrico casts more Democratic votes in CD1 than any other county. That gives us power, responsibility, and a critical role to play. We’ll also be working to re-elect Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan and Senator Mark Warner and help Democrats win up and down the ballot.

So yes, this is a fundraiser. But it’s also a celebration. There will be delicious food, great music, and a chance to hear from some of the brightest stars in Henrico politics without any long, boring speeches. You get to dress up, enjoy yourself, and spend the evening surrounded by people who share your values and your sense of purpose.
