Pemberton Overpass Protest

Every Saturday morning, a dedicated group of local community members is gathering at the Pemberton & I-64 Overpass to raise visibility and speak out against injustice in all its forms.

This is not a Henrico Dems–organized event, but we’re proud to help spread the word and support grassroots voices taking a stand.

Details:

• Protesters stand on the wide sidewalk on one side of Pemberton

• Large banners tied to the fencing, visible from both directions on the highway

• Bring signs, flags (homemade welcome!), sunscreen, and water

• Space for lawn chairs if needed

• Expect sun and some wind

Parking:Street parking available on Quarter Mill Rd, Oakley Point Dr, and Grand Oak Dr.Possible side lot parking at 9801 Harmony Wood Way.Drop-off is also possible at either end of the overpass.

This is people-powered protest at its purest: consistent, peaceful, and impossible to ignore.
