Chair Cheryl Zando Welcomes Henrico Democrats

Call To Caucus – Senate District 12

The 12th Senate District Nominating Committee will hold an assembled caucus on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 that will begin promptly at 6:00 PM for the purpose of nominating the 2015 Democratic candidate for the Virginia Senate from the 12th District.  Candidate declaration forms and filing fees are due on or before noon on Sunday, May 31st, 2015.

The assembled caucus will take place at Gayton Library, 10600 Gayton Road, Henrico, VA 23238. The doors to the Caucus will be opened at 5:00 p.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m. and no further persons will be permitted to enter. Those in line will be permitted to complete the check-in process and will be permitted to participate.

The caucus is subject to cancellation if only one or no candidate properly files to be the Democratic nominee for the 12th Senate District.

90 for 90

In honor of Henrico County’s Dr. William F. “Fergie” Reid’s 90th birthday and his long history of expanding voters’ rights, Virginians are committing to registering new voters for this year’s election.

If volunteers and candidates worked together to register 90 new voters in each of the Commonwealth’s precincts, our efforts would result in a quarter million new voters for the Old Dominion.

  • Candidate Training – Thinking About Running for Office? Here’s What You Need to Know -The Democratic Party of Virginia and Henrico Democrats hosted Candidate Training the weekend of Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th. We had 22 potential candidates and the sessions were a great success. Thank you to all who participated!
  • Henrico Democrats March Social – Presented by the Tuckahoe Magisterial District – We had a wonderful time and a large crowd at the March Social at Kickback Jacks. Thank you to the Tuckahoe Magisterial District chairs for all of their hard work in making this happen
