*** June 1st: Henrico County Youth Democrats Meeting ***

The next Henrico County Youth Democrats meeting will take place on June 1st from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Twin Hickory Library. All self-identifying Democrats in 8th to 12th grade are welcome. At the meeting, we will be writing postcards to our elected officials, learning about how we can involved with local campaigns, and meeting other youth democrats.

Jeff Schapiro, state politics Columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch
Margaret Edds, local author, former reporter and editor for the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot.

Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Your request must be received by your Registrar by 5:00 p.m.

*** June 17th: VA Democratic Women’s Caucus Statewide Membership Meeting ***

Join Democratic women from throughout the Commonwealth at the Women’s Caucus statewide meeting June 17th. This is the afternoon of the gala JJ Dinner (link here), which starts at 7 pm. Whether you’re attending the JJ or not, the Women’s Caucus will energize you for the campaign ahead.

Our featured speakers will be our candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor as well as women who are candidates for House of Delegates.

We are gearing up to win in November. After we hear from our candidates, we’ll gather in Congressional District groups to discuss strategies for educating our constituents and getting out the vote. Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm.

The Caucus meeting is open to members and non-members. You may join online or at the meeting.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet our candidates and to get to know other women who are determined to win.
